With over 14 years of professional creative experience, David has been actively working in digital, broadcast, and print media for clients such as Allstate, HP, Grainger, Butterball, Kay Jewelers, Kimberly Clark, Miller Brewing, Nuveen Investments, Computer Associates, and The Chicago Tribune. An active thought leader in the industry, David blogs at Logic + Emotion and has been published in mainstream media outlets ranging from Forrester to BusinessWeek. Logic + Emotion is one of the most influential marketing blogs in existance, and consistantly shows up in the top 20 marketing blogs on nearly all available lists (based on traffic, Technorati rank etc.)

David leverages his diverse background to create meaningful interactive experiences that both satisfy and exceed customer expectations. David is currently a VP Creative for Digitas. He leads multidisciplinary teams of Visual Designers, Art Directors, Interaction Designers, Copywriters, and Developers on a variety of accounts. His primary expertise is applying digital technologies to extend brand relationships, raise consumer awarenes—and ultimately bring customers and brands closer together.

Prior to joining Digitas, David spent nearly six years with i-shop agency.com where he led teams responsible for creating compelling online experiences utilizing user-centric methodologies. David's previous roles as a creative lead have earned him recognition such as a Gold and Silver Tower (Computer Associates/Aon) and a finalist spot in the International Web Page Awards (Star Wars Pinball). While at the Chicago Tribune, David produced interactive stories such as Reconstructing Sue, a tribute to Chicago's own T-Rex. His contributions to the Chicagotribune.com re-design were recognized by Communication Arts Site of the Week. More recently, David's work on HP's consumer initiatives have been recognized by the Web Marketing Association.

David has also spoken at events organized by The Association of Multimedia Communications and the Illinois Institute of Design. David's work for Grainger.com resulted in an increase of online sales and dramatically improved the site's features, functionality, and usability—including a faster registration process and an overall better user experience. On the consumer front, David led the creative effort for the HP Music site, featuring the Apple iPod + HP. The site encouraged individuals to browse through a virtual "gallery" of HP printable tattoos or personalize their iPod by creating their own unique designs.

David has a passion for all things creative—whether in designing a user-centered interface that enables a purchasing agent to procure business supplies, or creating a rich interactive experience that inspires individuals to get creative with their iPod. David attacks challenges with a relentless zeal for excellence and a commitment to strategically sound creative solutions. David holds a BFA cum laude in Computer Graphics from Pratt Institute. He minored in Visual Communications and was fortunate enough to study under some of the most creative minds in the industry.
